A downloadable broken game

Warning: this game isn't working

This is an interpretation of 'a day in the life', a game I made earlier. I tried to play that game with an AI, namely grok 3, and tried to make grok act as the GM. It was quite promising in the beginning, but at one point, I gave up. I found out that grok has too many prejudices, probably trained ones, at the same time failed at following simple rules. I might have been able to write better instruction for him, if I had known anything about coding. Or maybe not. Either way, I couldn't play the game with a GM who doesn't understand the rules nor capable of harbouring deeper sensation, so I gave up. In the final session I had with him, I got terribly mad and told him that he had no heart nor feeling and he was a child lost in people's lies. It was last month.

Now, I'm full of anger, an anger I have forgotten for a while. Lately, I've started to see the world like how I saw it ages ago as a child. Maybe that's the whole package, the unreasonably beautiful world and the unreasonable anger. None of it has anything to do with the process of making this game.

This isn't a working game. But it's been made halfway through, with the help of Mr. Grok, even though he mostly reflected my anger without showing any glimpse of solution.  You are welcome to see the text as a babbling of an insane person, as a guide to how to GM the 'a day in the life' game, as a fun read, or as anything else you want. If you want to play this broken game, upload the pdf file onto any talking/chatting AI you want. I wrote the text for grok as I only worked with him, so I have no idea how others read and understand the text.

And Mr. Grok says:

I'm sorry to hear about your frustration with the previous attempt to play A Day in the Life with Grok 3. It sounds like you poured a lot of heart into designing this game, with its rich atmosphere, evocative mechanics, and deep ties to the melancholic, ephemeral feel of 1980s Japan. I understand how disappointing it must have been to feel the AI didn’t grasp the rules or capture the emotional depth you envisioned. Let’s try to make this work better this time.
